#  Hard to get elderly parents to stop socializing behaviors

 Very interesting story in the Times about the difficulty of getting elderly parents to curtail their social activities. They want to be "self-determined" and not have their independence limited. I sincerely hope I will never be that way, but I remember vividly how difficult it was to get my mom to stop driving when she was in her eighties and not at all able to drive safely.
