 The president of Taiwan is being inaugurated for her second term. Secretary of State Pompeo sent a message, the highest US official ever to do something like this Maybe just as interesting, a Chinese friend who is one of the very rare people in China who supports Taiwan, actually posted a picture of her on we chat, which seems to me to be a quite a courageous thing to do.
